Even though it has been said the two Oracle games from Zelda will be the last game in the Game Boy Color because of the Game Boy Advance. But even if this is the case I can say that they have saved the best for last. The two Oracles games namely the Oracle for Seasons game and the Oracle for Ages game is the best game ever played in Game Boy Color. Both of the games capture what Zelda games are all about where in the difficulty is just right even its compatibility and length. And can you believe it both of these games was released in the same day so you get your money’s worth when you buy Zelda Oracle for Ages and Oracle for Seasons game.

The new features of the Oracle for Ages game is similar with the Seasons game like quests that can last for long hours, can interact with Oracle for Seasons game and can only be played with Game Boy Color. The Oracle for Ages game is a bit difficult than its equivalent Seasons game. The setup of the game is the same with the Seasons game aside that the game takes place in Labrynna a mystical land. In this game Link uses a Harp to restore the land instead of a scepter. When you master the tunes of the Harp you will be able to shift back and forth through time and the map also changes. At the beginning of the game there are puzzles that cannot be accessed but as you go on with the game and solve puzzles you will be able to unlike it.
You will able to enjoy your self for long hours because the game includes new items and challenges. Other items added to the Ages game are the Cane of Somaria and Mermaid Suit. Once you receive these items you are immediately helped to finish the challenge or quest. The good part is that every item you come across with is useful and you need these items throughout the game.
Puzzles in Oracle for Ages game might be a bit complicated but you can always figure it out as you spend time on it. And when you thought you figured it all out a new area appears for you to take on another challenge. The game design, if I may say, is a masterpiece. The elements of the story are very common but are more nostalgic than troublesome.
There are also mini-quests that let you trade items to colorful characters that can be found all over Labrynna. These characters can help in upgrading your Wooden sword. There are also different Rings that you can collect and these rings are hidden in chests or caves. To be able to get the rarest rings you must be an expert in planting Gasha seeds.
