In the Legend of Zelda –The Minish Cap, a terrible event has occurred. The wicked sorcerer, Vaati has turned Princess Zelda into stone. He is in search of the legendary light power. The Legendary light power is said to be able to give dominion over all the people of the land. He plans to take over Hyrule, and believes that he can achieve it through the legendary light power. In order to stop him from taking over, you, as Link, will come to the rescue. Link is again, become the savior of Hyrule. It won’t be easy though. You’ll need help from others and the race of minish would gladly help. The minish is a race of tiny and powerful beings that only children can see. In the game, there are portals which are only accessible by these tiny beings.
The Minish will help you shrink down to their size in order for you to access the portal. You can then solve lots of complicated puzzles and even find those hidden items that you’ve been looking for. You, as Link, will have to find and gather the four sacred elements of fire, water, wind and earth. After finding these sacred elements, you have to infuse it to an ancient broken blade. The four sacred elements are found on ancient temples, with one element per temple. Each temple has difficult puzzles and mazes that you must walk through. In order to get through all these hardships, you have to use many items, and those items include those seen on the classic Zelda games. One of them is the hookshot.
A new game mechanic on this game is Link’s ability to make clones for himself and use them to cleverly solve some of the various puzzles included on the temples. These clones can attack your enemies automatically. You’ll also be able to learn many sword abilities needed to slay many enemies, especially the bosses. In order to learn of these abilities, you must look for the right trainers. The trainers will teach you these abilities. Some abilities that they can teach you are downward thrust, a spin attack, a rolling stab, and much more. You’ll also be able to solve some puzzles through these various sword abilities. There are also kinstones in the game in which you use to open new paths and find more hidden items. There are many things to do in this game, so you can enjoy hours of gaming with this game.
